My name is Robert Pollai and I am a 44-year-old IT professional based in Vienna, Austria. Working and living in Bangkok from 2004 to 2009 revived an old interest in photography, and after moving back to Vienna, I continue to shoot when travelling and at home.

This site features my photographic work from recent years. Original focus were my journeys through Thailand and South East Asia, however recent years have also brought me to the Middle East, North Africa and the Americas. At home, my favorite subjects are people and portraiture, both in the studio and on-location.

I am happy to work with models and interesting photographers based on time-for-prints, where both parties get limited rights to use the photographs, instead of a payment.

For non-commercial projects, in most cases I will make my work available at no cost under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND license in its current version (Attribution, NonCommercial, NoDerivates).

Client Galleries

If a private client gallery is provided to you, you are required to login with an email address in addition to the provided password. That email address is only used for your interaction with the client gallery. Each client gallery is available for no longer than six months, after which also your personal data associated with it will be deleted. As long as not explicitly requested, the data provided will not be used to offer you any commercial goods or services.
