This photograph was taken early morning in Laab im Walde, near Vienna.

Rising early, I did not have to venture far from our house to find this beautiful morning scene around the impressive large tree and to the right the barely noticeable farm house still hidden in the morning mist.

This photograph is close to my heart, not only haven been taken at dawn, but also during a period of my life that felt like a new dawn - having passed through dark times, feeling ready to start renewed into a brighter and promising future.
